Description

These adorable Oreo Lamb Lollipops are a delightful Easter treat that’s as fun to make as it is to eat. Combining classic Oreo cookies with creamy white chocolate and charming decorative candy pieces, these lamb-shaped pops are perfect for festive gatherings or as sweet gifts. With a simple no-bake preparation and creative decorating steps, you can craft six charming lamb lollipops that will impress kids and adults alike.

Ingredients

Scale

Oreo Lamb Pops

  • 6 Oreo Cookies
  • 12 ounces melted and tempered white chocolate or melted white confectionery coating (candy melts)
  • 18 black candy melt wafers
  • 12 candy eyes
  • 6 pink heart sprinkles
  • 3 ounces tiny marshmallows (Jet-Puffed Mallow Bits)

Instructions

  1. Split Cookies: Carefully separate each Oreo cookie into two halves, making sure not to break the chocolate wafers.
  2. Apply White Chocolate: Brush a thin layer of the melted white chocolate onto the inside surface of both cookie halves to act as adhesive.
  3. Insert Lollipop Stick: While the white chocolate is still wet, press a lollipop stick onto one half of the cookie and then press the two halves back together firmly to sandwich the stick inside.
  4. Set Chocolate: Allow the white chocolate inside the cookie to fully harden, ensuring the lollipop stick is securely attached.
  5. Create Lamb Faces: Using white chocolate, attach two candy eyes and one pink heart sprinkle nose to each of 6 black candy melt wafers to create adorable lamb faces.
  6. Make Ears and Legs: Cut two small teardrop shapes out of each of the remaining 12 black candy melt wafers to form 12 lamb ears and 12 lamb legs.
  7. Coat Oreos: Dip each Oreo lollipop into the remaining melted white chocolate to coat the exterior completely.
  8. Attach Face: Press one of the decorated chocolate lamb faces onto the center of each dipped Oreo lollipop, pressing gently to adhere.
  9. Add Marshmallows: Generously sprinkle tiny marshmallows all over the white chocolate coating on each cookie for a fluffy effect.
  10. Dry Completely: Let the coated lollipops dry completely until the white chocolate sets and the marshmallows stick firmly.
  11. Repeat Process: Continue these steps until you have created 6 charming Oreo lamb lollipops in total.
  12. Attach Ears and Legs: Use a bit of melted white chocolate as glue to attach two chocolate ears and two chocolate legs onto each lamb pop, completing the cute lamb look.

Notes

  • Ensure the white chocolate is properly tempered or melted to avoid clumping and to allow smooth coating.
  • Use lollipop sticks sturdy enough to support the weight of the Oreo cookies.
  • Allow each setting stage to dry fully before proceeding to ensure secure assembly.
  • Store finished lollipops in a cool, dry place to maintain freshness and shape.
  • For variations, substitute candy eyes or sprinkles with other fun decorations as desired.
