Ingredients
Scale
Slider Assembly
- 12 slider rolls or Hawaiian rolls, sliced in half horizontally
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 6 slices mozzarella cheese
- 6 ounces sliced salami
- 6 ounces sliced pepperoni
- 6 ounces sliced ham
- 1/2 cup sliced banana peppers
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoncini
- 1/4 cup roasted red peppers, sliced
Topping & Seasoning
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Dish: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking and aid in even baking.
- Assemble Slider Layers: Place the bottom halves of the slider rolls into the greased baking dish. Layer evenly with provolone cheese, then sliced salami, pepperoni, ham, banana peppers, pepperoncini, and roasted red peppers. Top this layering with mozzarella cheese.
- Add the Tops: Place the top halves of the slider rolls over the layers to complete the sandwich assembly.
- Prepare Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). This mixture will add flavor and help brown the tops.
- Brush Topping: Generously brush the butter and seasoning mixture over the tops of the slider rolls. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly on top for added flavor and a golden crust.
- Bake Covered: Cover the baking dish loosely with foil to keep the sliders moist and bake for 15 minutes, allowing cheese to melt and flavors to meld.
- Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 8 to 10 minutes until the tops turn golden and the cheese is fully melted and bubbly.
- Rest and Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes to set before slicing and serving warm.
Notes
- Serve with marinara sauce on the side for dipping if desired.
- For extra heat, add sliced jalapeños or use spicy provolone cheese.
- These sliders can be assembled ahead of time and baked just before serving.
