Description

A delightful and easy-to-make no-bake banana split cheesecake featuring a graham cracker crust, creamy layers of sweetened cream cheese and whipped topping, fresh bananas, pineapple, cherries, and decadent drizzles of chocolate and caramel sauce. Perfectly chilled and garnished with whipped cream and fruit, this dessert offers all the flavors of a classic banana split in cheesecake form.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

Cheesecake Filling

  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed

Fruit & Toppings

  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, halved
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce
  • Whipped cream, for garnish
  • Additional banana slices, maraschino cherries, and chocolate pieces for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish to form an even crust layer.
  2. Make the cheesecake filling: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping just until combined for a light texture.
  3. Assemble first layer: Spread half of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the prepared crust. Then, layer the banana slices, crushed pineapple, and halved maraschino cherries over the cream cheese.
  4. Add the top layer and sauces: Spread the remaining cream cheese mixture on top of the fruit layer. Drizzle the chocolate syrup and caramel sauce evenly over the entire surface.
  5. Chill to set: Refrigerate the assembled cheesecake for at least 4 hours to allow it to set properly.
  6. Garnish and serve: Just before serving, garnish with dollops of whipped cream, additional fresh banana slices, maraschino cherries, and chocolate pieces for a festive presentation.

Notes

  • Ensure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easier mixing and a smoother filling.
  • Drain the crushed pineapple well to prevent the cheesecake from becoming watery.
  • This cheesecake is best kept refrigerated and consumed within 2–3 days for optimal freshness.
  • For a nutty twist, sprinkle chopped toasted nuts on top along with the garnishes.
  • If you prefer, substitute the maraschino cherries with fresh cherries or strawberries for a fresher flavor.
