Ingredients
Scale
Chicken Skewers
- 1 ½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or chicken thighs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chicken seasoning
Garlic Parmesan Sauce
- ½ cup garlic parmesan sauce
Optional Garnish
- Fresh chopped parsley
- Grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken: Cut the chicken into 1-inch pieces. Toss the pieces with olive oil and chicken seasoning until evenly coated.
- Skewer the chicken: Thread the chicken pieces tightly onto 6-inch bamboo skewers, placing 4 pieces per skewer. Arrange the skewers so they will fit in your air fryer basket.
- Air fry the chicken: Place the skewers in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F for 10 minutes. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Flip and brush with sauce: Open the air fryer, flip each chicken skewer, and brush garlic parmesan sauce over the chicken pieces. Return the skewers to the air fryer and cook at 400°F for another 2 minutes.
- Serve and garnish: Remove the skewers from the air fryer, brush with any remaining garlic parmesan sauce, and serve immediately. Optionally, garnish with fresh chopped parsley and grated parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
Notes
- Use chicken thighs instead of breasts for juicier skewers if preferred.
- Ensure skewers fit comfortably in your air fryer basket without overlapping to cook evenly.
- For a spicier variation, add crushed red pepper flakes to the chicken seasoning.
- If you don’t have garlic parmesan sauce, a mixture of garlic butter and grated parmesan cheese can be used as a substitute.
- Soak bamboo skewers in water for 30 minutes before using to prevent burning.
