- Red M&Ms (for Rudolph’s nose)
- Mini chocolate chips (for the other reindeer’s noses)
Instructions
- Bake the Cupcakes: Preheat your oven according to the cake mix instructions and line a cupcake pan with paper liners. Prepare the chocolate cake mix as directed on the box by combining the mix with eggs, oil, and water. Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners. Bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and allow cupcakes to cool completely.
- Frost the Cupcakes: Once the cupcakes are fully cooled, spread or pipe 1 cup of chocolate frosting evenly over the tops of each cupcake to create a smooth, chocolatey surface.
- Decorate the Reindeer: Add two pretzels on the top of each cupcake to create antlers. Place two candy eyes just below the pretzels. For Rudolph’s cupcake, place one red M&M in the center front to serve as a bright red nose; for the other reindeer, use mini chocolate chips as noses for a fun variation.
