Ingredients
Scale
Big Mac Sauce
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup dill pickle relish
- 2 Tablespoons finely minced white onion (or dried minced onion)
- 1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Burger Bowl
- 1/2 cup diced white onion
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Chopped romaine lettuce
- Freshly grated cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese)
- Sliced cherry tomatoes
- Sliced dill pickles
- Cooked potato wedges or French fries
- Sliced red onion (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Big Mac Sauce: In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, dill pickle relish, minced onion, yellow mustard, paprika, and garlic powder until well combined. Cover the bowl and refrigerate while preparing the burger to allow flavors to meld.
- Cook the Ground Beef and Onions: Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced white onion and ground beef. Cook, crumbling the beef with a spatula until fully cooked and no longer pink. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
- Season the Beef: Reduce the heat to low. Season the cooked beef with salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Stir well to combine all flavors. Continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes on low heat to let the seasonings infuse.
- Assemble the Bowls: Divide the cooked beef and onions evenly among four medium-sized bowls. Top each bowl with chopped romaine lettuce, freshly grated cheddar cheese, sliced cherry tomatoes, sliced dill pickles, cooked potato wedges or French fries, and sliced red onion if using.
- Add Big Mac Sauce & Serve: Drizzle the prepared Big Mac sauce generously over the top of each bowl. Serve immediately and enjoy this flavorful bunless cheeseburger meal.
Notes
- You can substitute dried minced onion if fresh is unavailable.
- Use your favorite cheese such as American, Swiss, or pepper jack for variation.
- For a lower fat version, use ground turkey or leaner cuts of beef.
- Serve with baked potato wedges or fries for a balance of texture and flavor.
- The Big Mac sauce can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
