- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
Assembly
- 12 slider buns
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup cilantro leaves
- 1/4 cup shredded carrots
Instructions
- Preheat and prep chicken: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the chicken breasts on it.
- Season chicken: Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the chicken breasts. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper evenly onto both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Bake chicken: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the chicken for 25 to 30 minutes until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Prepare bang bang sauce: While the chicken bakes, combine mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, rice vinegar, and honey in a medium bowl. Whisk thoroughly until the sauce is smooth and fully blended.
- Cool and shred chicken: Remove the baked chicken from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Then shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces using two forks.
- Toss chicken in sauce: Place the shredded chicken in a large bowl and toss with the prepared bang bang sauce until the chicken is evenly coated and flavorful.
- Prepare slider buns: Slice the slider buns in half horizontally to create tops and bottoms. Arrange the bottom halves on a serving platter.
- Assemble sliders: Spoon a generous amount of the saucy bang bang chicken onto each bottom bun. Sprinkle chopped green onions, cilantro leaves, and shredded carrots on top for freshness and crunch.
- Finish and serve: Place the top halves of the slider buns onto the assembled bottoms, serve immediately, and enjoy these flavorful Bang Bang Chicken Sliders!
