Description

A refreshing and autumn-inspired Apple Cider Float combining creamy vanilla bean ice cream with crisp apple cider, garnished with warming spices and fresh apple slices for a festive treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Float Ingredients

  • 1 cup Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (8 ounces)
  • 1 cup Cold Apple Cider (or sparkling apple cider)

Garnishes

  • Cinnamon Sugar (optional garnish)
  • Red Apple Slices
  • Cinnamon Stick
  • Whole Star Anise

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glass: Select a tall glass and scoop the vanilla bean ice cream into it, filling the glass about two-thirds full to allow space for the cider.
  2. Pour the Cider: Slowly pour the cold apple cider over the ice cream. If using sparkling apple cider, pour gently to control the bubbles and prevent overflow.
  3. Add Garnishes: Decorate the float with a fan of red apple slices, place a cinnamon stick and a whole star anise on top, and sprinkle cinnamon sugar on the sides of the glass and over the ice cream for added flavor and visual appeal.
  4. Serve: Offer the float immediately to enjoy the contrast of creamy ice cream with crisp cider and aromatic spices.

Notes

  • For a fizzy twist, use sparkling apple cider.
  • Adjust cinnamon sugar amount to your taste preference.
  • Serve with a straw or spoon for easy enjoyment.
  • Perfect for fall gatherings or a sweet, simple dessert.
