Instructions
- Prepare Garlic Butter Steak Bites: Heat butter and minced garlic in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the cubed sirloin steak seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and tender, about 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Make Creamy Tuscan Chicken: In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté the chicken breast until browned. Add the sun-dried tomatoes, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning. Simmer on low heat until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is creamy, approximately 8-10 minutes.
- Cook Lemon Butter Shrimp: Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant. Add shrimp and lemon juice, cooking until shrimp turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Prepare Mushroom Risotto: In a saucepan, warm chicken broth separately. In another pan, toast arborio rice briefly in butter. Gradually add warm broth one ladle at a time, stirring often until absorbed before adding more. When rice is tender and creamy, stir in sautéed mushrooms and Parmesan cheese. Cook for another 2-3 minutes before removing from heat.
- Roast Asparagus: Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet. Roast for 12 minutes until tender but still crisp. Remove and keep warm.
- Assemble Caprese Salad: Arrange cherry tomatoes, fresh mozzarella slices, and basil leaves on a serving dish. Drizzle with balsamic glaze just before serving.
- Prepare Chocolate-Covered Strawberries: Dip clean strawberries into the melted dark chocolate until coated. Place on parchment paper and chill in the refrigerator until the chocolate sets, about 30 minutes.
- Make Vanilla Panna Cotta: Heat heavy cream with sugar and vanilla extract over low heat. Dissolve gelatin in a small amount of cold water, then stir into the warm cream mixture. Pour into molds and refrigerate until set, at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Serve the Courses: Present each dish slowly and thoughtfully to enjoy a relaxed and romantic dining experience.
Notes
- This menu is designed for sharing and lingering over each course to enhance the romantic atmosphere.
- For a simpler evening, choose 3 to 4 dishes rather than all eight.
- Create the perfect ambiance with candlelight, soft music, and serving plates instead of bowls.
